Your PopUp House is built to be kept free of rodents and insects.
Rodents
Rodents can dig tunnels in EPS, as in any insulating material. Various techniques can prevent this from happening in wood constructions, which you can discuss with your prime contractor. We recommend setting the floor of the construction at least 60 cm from the ground soil and if necessary, adding cups to the anchoring pedestals to prevent rodents from climbing up to the floor. The underside of the slab can also be sealed off.
Insects
The laminated wood structure is systematically treated by impregnation. This treatment protects the wood from wood-eating insects (such as termites) and fungi.
