This PopUp house had already made headlines in April 2019 in the magazine Eco Maison Bois.
Today, one of the public’s favourite creations is featured in the report by Maison France 5 – special wood.
The famous Stéphane Millet travelled to Loire-Atlantique to meet the architect of a 225m² PopUp.
EXPLANATIONS OF THIS POPUP PROJECT:
In the report, the architect describes how he designed the house and the constraints of the land ; the materials used indoors and outdoors; and the owner’s involvement in the development and implementation of the PopUp.
“The kitchen was the starting point of the project”
The family wanted a house arranged around the kitchen of their dreams. Once the plans for the kitchen had been drawn up, the architectural firm was able to design the 225m² house around this master room.
“A fast, clean and efficient construction”
After 4 months of work (excluding foundations) on a complex site, the family occupies this bioclimatic house. The owner, a professional interior designer, carried out most of the interior finishing work, which allowed him to make some savings on the entire project.
“Wood, omnipresent inside and outside”
The PopUp House structure and the chosen finishes make this house very pleasant and warm. Here, fibre-cement panels from our catalogue cover several interior parts, facades and some external installations.
